A friend of mine in Nova Scotia asked this question on another forum, got no responses...

anyone know?

"So, one of my song co-writes got picked up for a TV show airing February 15th on PBS, also being carried and re-broadcast in New Zealand and Australia. The show is called "Put Some Color in your Life", and the song is called "Someone else's trouble now". They're using two 30 second segments of it, possibly extended to 1 minute.

Anyone know standard sync rates for PBS and NZ/AU??

Thanks in advance!"

cheers

Australia and NZ stopped using PAL back in 2013.

We are now on DVB-T.

There are no set rates except for AMCOS library tracks. Original material just comes down to your or your publisher's negotiating skills. Bear in mind some production companies ask for a cut of the royalties.
