Anyone have any idea of inexpensive LED stage/festival spotlights - fixed / simple beam ?
Where to look?

when you say spotlight chris - do you mean an actual man operated spot (from the back of the room)
or do you mean a light fixture that has a "spot" effect"
send me an email and i can point you in the right direction

Hi Chris
I bought a bunch of LED lights last year.
They are Event Hex 12x12w with 6 colours. I bought these mostly because they don't have a noisy fan. They've been great. Solid chassis and easy.
Also bought a few Profile spots which are a nice compact size that may suit your needs. But I'm not sure what size pin you'd get with them from 50-80m though. Worth a look..
Cheers mate!

Its highly unlikely you will find a LED spot light, assuming you mean follow spot, that will throw 50-80m. Chauvet make a LED spot thats not too bad but not bright even at 20m throw.

This ground control follow spot looks pretty cool Chris.
It even has a video feed.
Can be remotely operated from 2000 feet away.
Worth a look but might be more than what you're after.
