Hi Everyone,

My trusty Zoom H6 has a broken SD card reader, physical damage, so if I put an sd card in the reader doesn't read it then damages it on the way out (or in).

Before I take the plunge to buy a new one (or the bigger plunge to upgrade to a Sound Devices) I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to replace the SD card reader? I've been searching online but haven't come up with anything concrete.

Hey Vic,

It has a USB port so you may be able to connect an external card reader - these are pretty cheap from office works or dicksmith etc - I use one for loading GoPro files into my computer.
