Try looking for Masters apprentices original albums.... up to 300-500 for a mint copy 8-}

I saw a Zoot album recently (can't remember where though) that was around a 50...

You in syd or melbourne?

Ps I go to a lot of record stores so I'll keep a eye out for you

I've seen a CD best of, but a long time ago...

There are a couple of shops of parramatta road, a good one in newtown and the ghost of ashwoods in erskinville.

I'll keep an eye though...

Zoots version of eleanor rigby stands the test of time imho

I think Zoot's cover and Doug Parkinson's cover of Dear Prudence are brilliant interpretations, Zoot added a definitive dimension to ER, DP on the other hand added an emotive context to Prudence that IMNSHO was missing from the original.

I've forgotten more songs that I remember but Barnsey's cover of The Weight ain't too bad either, although the original carried much more raw emotion as did much of The Band's early material.

I own a great Glenn A Baker comp CD of The Zoot, called "Zoot Locker" on EMI, re-released 1995.
Brilliant band.
Molly produced one of their singles.
