Hi brains trust,

Has anyone had any experience with Allan Sides' line of studio monitors? More so the smaller near field & mid field monitors.
Or did any studios in Aus ever get the large 3 or 4 way far fields/mains installed?

Just doing some random reading and his thought process on speaker design just resonated (pardon the pun) with me so not actually ever heard some, would be keen on any thoughts!

I saw them at ocean way Nashville in Jan. Didn't use them, but they looked good.

They were only in the " training/lessons room" downstairs, not in the main tracking control room.

I've got a pair of HR4's. Installed them a couple of weeks ago. Totally amazing.

A friend has a pair of Pro 2a's arriving in a couple of weeks.

I've never been more aware of how things sound.
