Many of you will be saddened to know that earlier today, John McConnell suffered a massive stroke, and passed away this afternoon in RPA Sydney.

John was a prolific live sound engineer, known by many in the industry, and was a mentor to many young live sound engineers.

I'll post memorial details when they are known.

I knew John in the '80s: always a helpful and accessible guy, and with obvious talent.
