It seems we are all a little too busy this year, or perhaps feel it inappropriate to party when so many around the country have lost, or are threatened, by bushfires.
So without a party, I want to say Merry Christmas to all Trockers, praying you stay safe, and a big thanks for all the fun
and learning through the year. May Santa bring you Neve, Neumann, Neutrik - something starting with N.

Merry Christmas all and a happy new year... I hope we all get a little rest and relaxation. I think I’m getting a kayak and no rest but what else do you expect when you have a toddler hand grenade? All the best!

Merry belated Christmas and Happy New Years Turtlerockers, I hope you had a great festive season and a wonderful 2020 year ahead. I spent 5 days over new year pulling the room apart and recabling into a lovely handbuilt rack from Mat Robins.. I know this is the only place where someone will understand the strange joy and satisfaction this brings!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all, finally this year will see the completion of my studio, a one year project that I'm still working on six years later. However, I have done the first few tentative recordings and a few more to come shortly. Had I have known what a huge undertaking it was going to be, I probably wouldn't have started it. Now that it's almost done, I do feel a sense of accomplishment. As to justifying the expense or any chance of recouping it, I have come to the realisation that this will never happen. Ho Hum.

Hey Bob, I have been curious. Stockport sound as a sort of pun on the Liverpool sound, or some connection to Manchester meets Cheshire? My grandma was from Heaton Moor.

Stockport is the village I live in, in SA. Founded by Samuel Stocks Junior, in 1845, who came from Stockport in Cheshire. There is disagreement over whether he named it after his birthplace or himself. Funnily enough, I grew up in Heald Green, Cheshire which is about 15 kms from Stockport UK. Stockport UK is our sister "city", somewhat larger that Stockport SA, which has a population of less than 250.
