Vale John Sayers
Have just heard about the passing of John Sayers. Condolences to all who knew him… I never met him but have worked in studios built or designed by him and often used his building and design advice.

RIP John, you were the one place I could get reliable advice when I was designing and building my studio. Your advice was always to the point, generous and willingly given, without it I don't think my studio would exist or, if it did, sound the way it does. Your photo is on my wall of mentors, thankyou for everything.

Oh no !
John gave so much wisdom and advice to the recording and studio world.
I wish people like him could live forever........
I hope his forum can continue the priceless work and advice.
Sad day indeed.

Re: Vale John Sayers
I'm sorry to hear this. I hired John to design my studio in the Southern Tablelands in 2015. He always had time to answer any questions I had as the build progressed and as I invariably stuffed things up and turned back to John to get things back on track. I am so thankful to have had his expertise behind me and the opportunity to have worked with him. Vale John.
