The ones i have are 201.9 MB and will play in any player that has the indentation in the tray that is the size of the disk. They get lost in slot loading players

We stock and can replicate them (80mm discs), 185 MB/21mins.

I've maybe a dozen of the old TDK mini CD-R blanks which are 159MB/18 mins.

Yes, definitely not for slot loading players!

I gather from slot loading you mean like car stereos? I have used mini cd's in these with no problem - although the first time I kinda ducked my head in case it shot out and imbedded itself in my skull.

So maybe I got lucky but I have had sucess with "slot loading" type cd players....

Luke.

PS. Yes I got about 200 MB on mine.

The first job i ever had was in a computer repair place in port macquarie. I remember a person bringing in their pc for repair. The problem? "The cup holder doesn't work anymore".????

Turned out she thought the CD drive tray was a coffee cup holder (that's what the indentation was for). The weight of the cup (plus spilt coffee) was just too much for the drive mechanics to handle.

Yes, that's a true story.

That reminds me of an email from a few years ago,

Congrads, coca cola has sent you a free cup holder for your dedicated customer support.

Cd player would open.....
