this reminds me of the Korg Wavedrum technology.
This demo has really piss poor sound tho...pretty disappointing for a company like Zildjian...oh well.

I gave up when he said he loved the hihats... Maybe it got better.

Bah. Heres hoping Zildjian take it in a completely different direction from the whole "lets try and make some fake drums that sound like real ones" thing. I actually think they might have some potential!

if they use this tech similar to how korg did wave drum, and let you turn all your cymbals into a gamelan kit, or like some ridiculously oversized gong...thats' fkn cool, coz...i mean, i cant have a 50" gong in my house
