The bass playing's not too shabby either ;-)

as for mics... nothing unusual there, unless i'm missing something? perhaps they were odd choices for the time... but the 441 is my go-to mic for snare, the 421 is a classic tom mic, and the RE20 looks very much at home on the floor tom. Can't make out the overhead, B&K perhaps? No (visible) kick drum mic though.

One thing's for sure - there are more cameras on Buddy's kit than there are mics!

oh and did anyone else notice Dan Aykroyd playing first violin at 1:51?
