Rackmount DI
Does anyone know of a six channel rack DI which isn't a be!@#$%^&, and costs less than the Radial JD6 ($1100).

I reckon you buy 6 Harbuch or Jensen transformers and stick them in a box and go passive.
An hour or 2 of metalwork but it will never fail.

Re: Rackmount DI
Al - would love to, but lack both time and skills. I have a mate who could do it, but I'm badly in debt to him already.
Kurt - are you suggesting I should read the 'For Sale' section before posting? Away with you and your foolish notions!

cheaper than that I'm not too sure..
I've seen a fair few ART ones that seem to work - but never toured anything apart from radial

Re: Rackmount DI
Yeah well it looks like Outline are getting back into gigging seriously, so I need to have a bit more of a roadworthy rig. Playing both keys and guitar is a major pain in terms of lugging and setup.
Was good to see Bob Spencer on Sat night - didn't get to chat to him but greatly enjoyed his set.
I've PM'd Richard about the Radial.

Re: Rackmount DI
ARX make a 6 channel rackmount DI
I use all radial myself, but the ARX would serve the middle ground
