I have a spare groove tubes md3 which has a capsule made by Josephson. Based entirely on the C37a. Don't know how close it got to the original, but a great mic.

I'd be interested in the Groove Tubes mic if the OP doesn't want it.
C37a will be hard to find and expensive, but there are people making clone ish versions.

Hi Matt,

I've got what you're looking for. What would you be wanting to spend? Condition is generally good. Sometimes there's a bit of noise, but I haven't had it serviced in many a long year. Probably easy to fix. Let me know if you're still keen to buy,

Cheers, Andrew
