Soundtracs IL3632 large format audio console MSRP: $126,000!

Thats right, it original sold for $126,000aust in 1991. And you can have it today for...
$3000!
I will get photos of the actual console up in the next 24hours. This is a 36 channel, 32 bus inline design that includes full bantam patchbay and 2 effects return modules (8 effects returns in total, just in case you have all 36 channels being used). Included are a bunch of used EDAC connectors (all connections are done via EDAC on the back panel), and two copies of the manual that include full schematics including one for the PSU mentioned below.
Now the details, the console needs some attention hence the low price. It does power up, it is using a non-original modified MCI power supply. This is an overated power supply that runs cooler, it was modified/purchased from Rob at Pro-harmonic about 14months ago. I've tested the master module, it passes audio very nicely... I've used the desk with about 16 channels in it, most work completely, a few have some problems like 1 needing a new monitor level pot, and another needing a new treble eq pot. The eq in this desk sounds absolutely brilliant! It has fantastic 40 segment LED level meters and phase meter. The desk is equipped entirely with P&G faders, and Soundtracs Tracmix VCA automation cards on every channel. It does not however include the tracmix VCA computer. The computer and spare parts are available through Tim @ studiosystems in the UK.
Physically, the desk has been used. Its far from terrible shape, but there are some signs of wear and a few dings. For example, the L-R bus selection button on all the channels and in the control room section are worn, but would be easily replaced. The EQ engage buttons are worn too... so that it no longer says L-R or EQ on the top. It does not include the original legs, but it has a lightweight aluminim frame that will be included if desired. It was professionally build/welded. Like I said, I will get some photos up in the next 24hours.
This console would be ideal for restoration/use. For spare parts for other IL3632 owners, or to be parted out and racked up by a tech. Its inline design would make it ideal as a sidecar, you could get four 8 channel plus stereo master sidecars out of this that would absolutely destroy any mackie desk.
The item is located in Sydney's Sutherland Shire, but I will happily crate it up (at my expense) and freight it (at buyers expense). It is heavy. The PSU weighs close to 50kg, the console is almost 200kg. I will happily hire a Ute (at my own expense) to deliver it within 100km of its location in sydney, that includes to a buyer or freight company if its necessary. Remember that its heavy, and 4 people are needed to lift it.
I would prefer to sell it as a complete console, but if I get enough offers for certian parts (need some channel strips? want to make your own 10 channel summing console with 40 segment LED meters?) I will consider parting it out and will include copies of the schematics. Due to the fact that it hasn't been used in a while, it is being sold as is. I can test certian things, just ask.
Please feel free to PM with any questions. I have very good ebay feedback and can provide it upon request. I will consider trades for various pieces of gear, such as an Avalon VT-737/VT-747 or other similar (in terms of functionality) channel strips, Kurzweil KSP-8 or other similar quality multieffects units, Various microphones, a high end compressor, etc... I'd consider any piece or combination of pro audio gear, but I am looking for quality gear.
Again, PM me with any questions. If you would like photos of anything specific please ask and I will happily get them together. If you would like a copy of specific schematics I can arrange that too, just ask. This is a very professional, and superb sounding piece of kit. I really want to see it go and be used in one way or another instead of just sitting in storage.
Cheers!
