tech question

Hi All,

Can anyone recommend a tech in the eastern states for repairing a Urei LA-12 stereo comp? I also have some vintage German broadcast preamp and comp modules needing TLC (Seimens/TAB, NTP, etc). Hoping there's still some out there taking on this kind of work!

I think from memory the transformers get hot and need ventilating.
SOme people cut slits into metal work above to let air escape.
IS this the issue?

Cheers for that heads up Dale, I'll drag it out and have a look. I do recall the issue being intermittent, at least initially.
