Repairing C414???

Anyone know of the cause of noise on a C414EB? its a common fault, and no its not the tantalums, I've already tried that.

Thanks for the suggestion Rob. Nah, I tried a capsule from a 'clean' mic and the noise was still there. Tried replacing the 1Giga ohm resistors and the FET, but no improvement.

Ok it was a wire broken inside the insulation going from the PCB to the output transformer. How that happened inside a microphone I don't know.
