Thanks Rob - I think you fixed one of mine once.
they seem pretty reliable (Ive had 2 for 10 years) - and have no problem with my one - but need to find a schematic for future repairs (I used to have one but misplaced it!!)
Gee they are good sounding springs - sound more like a chamber than a spring.
$68 for one printed page is well beyond my budget
I'll keep searching...........

Re: Quadeight RV10 Spring reverb schematic's
maybe we can hatch some kind of spy caper type of thing where we get someone who has a copy to show us, but we secretly photograph it while they are showing us, thus saving $68.
although, getting to wherever this mysterious document is may cost more than $68...
i'll continue scheming for that schematic...

If we can get a few owners to bandy together we could buy a copy from orphan and (share between mates)

Re: Quadeight RV10 Spring reverb schematic's
Hey Chris
What about putting your DIY hat on and tracing the circuit... ? It'll be good experience.
A spring reverb... can't imagine there'd be anything too difficult to trace in that box... a drive amp, recovery amp and a power supply... oh yeah and a reverb tank.
It may even use one of the Quad Eight plug in line amp cards.
So why don't you whip the top off that beast, take some pics, so we can get an idea of what's under the bonnet.
Once we have an idea of what we're dealing with the rest should be pretty easy.
Hope this helps.

Greg - thanks for that - but I don't really have the spare time to draw out the schematic etc - I'd rather go fishing!
