Your hairs probably stand on end whenever you walk near it!

Half a tonne worth of UPS. I would hate to think how much it would cost to replace the batteries in that thing.

They're good ups systems,but you need to change the batteries every 5 years and service them regularly.
I had 2 40 KVA Silcons in an N+1 redundant setup, cost $4k per year for service contract and $15K to change the batteries a few years back. Nice but big ups need deep pockets.
