Those prices were ridiculous. Everything sold for it's collectability not it's usefullness.

I don't think anything went for stupid money , its neil young , he is well loved and well "owned" by many people . looks like a bunch of people who feel they somehow owned him got a chance to step up to the plate and buy a bit of myth .

if you wanted to buy lil
trains you could get on board the dream for not too much

if you wanted to drive his skylark home then it cost a lot .

for every guitar that was triple priced because he owned it there were amps or bits of studio gear at ebay prices that made sense to collectors of his fingerprints and spit .

Dex bought his Harrison console in the 90's and it took some work to clean........there was so much white powder in various nooks and crannies that it's a wonder it made it through customs!
