Rather interesting anthropological newspaper article...

15 hour work weeks? I could deal with that.
It goes even deeper though. The rule of the 1%. Unhappiness of the masses. Resentment of people doing real work (ie: musicians).

I have friends here in Sydney that are highly intelligent & down to earth that only work 3 or 4 days a week.
I find it highly enlightening. Some of them live rather simply existences, but seem to have a greater respect for the simple things in life... and genuinely seem a whole lot happier!

I work two evenings a week in general, have done for several years. Now my wife (who has a real job!) and I have bought a house, I need to get a more stable income. Generally I'm happy with what I'm earning but if a gig or (god forbid, two) is cancelled, I'm screwed.
