Have had them for a few days 'my violent heart' is one of the best songs I av heard in years Trents gone back to his 'cutting edge' best. I don't really like the single all that much yet but i can not wait to hear the album and see the tour. With teeth was almost a pop album compared to these.
Bring it on trent

Tapeworm disbanded from my knowledge. A Perfect Circle play one of the tapeworm songs though. It's on their emotive record, and they've also played it live. It's called "Passive", it's ok, not stunning.

Nails were touring with Jerome Dillon bashing pig, the only member of the band to survive the cut except trent obviously. Jerome had heart problems in the middle of a gig, which got cut short and was replaced with Josh Freeze last year.

Reznor has redefined 'concept' album with this new record. The concept is far too detailed to go into here, and we're still just getting an idea of how it all fits together - I guess a summary would be that he's created what's known as a Altered Reality Game in which a fictional world set in the year 2024 (Year Zero) is the context that the new album is released in, and in this future world shit's gone pear shaped indeed and it's in this context of fear, drugging citizens through the water (who then see visions of a thing called 'the presence'), and absolute governent control that we are to address the new record.

The game is to find out what this world is all about (and in the process not only build up and create this new world but also find snippets of the new songs) through a series of hidden cryptic clues like morse code at the end of sound bytes hidden on websites (set in the future and created for this whole game thing) that are found through highlighted letters on tour t-shirts, HTML trickery, and yes, putting the static noise of a certain sound byte through a 'spectograph' draws a picture of the above mentioned 'presence' that people see after drinking the water.

It is also interesting to note that he's leaking his own music, leaving flash drives in the toilets at gigs with unrealesed songs on them.

Or you could just buy the record.

for those of you who are interested, Lyrics to latest song leaked, in the twilight

Watch the Sun,
As It crawls across the final turn;
And It feels like,
Like It was a Friend.

If It's watching us,
Every world we set on fire;
Do you wonder,
If It feels the same?

And the Sky Is filled with Light,
Can you See it?
All the Black is really White,
If you Believe it.
As your Time is Running out,
Let me take Away your Doubt;
You can find a Better Place,
In This Twilight...

Dust to Dust,
Ashes In your Hair remind Me;
What it Feels like,
And I won't feel Again.

Night Descends,
Could I have been A Better Person;
If I could only,
Do it all again.

If the sky is filled with light,
Do you see it?
All the Black is really White,
If you believe it.
And the Longing that you Feel,
You know None of this Real;
You will find a better place,
In This Twilight...
