EMS Synthi 100 restored

A good news story.

I remember this old warhorse kicking around in a backroom at the con when I was there in the 80s and it seemed like it was only a matter of time before it would end up in the skip. Great that a vision for its preservation and restoration prevailed.

Good on you Les

Cheers

Les is a top guy for sure, and has some interesting stories of the early development of digital recording equipment. He did a study tour of UK around 81 and saw in operation a prototype Neve digital desk. Everything post mic was digital.
If AT was fair dinkum they should have interviewed him for sure!
