Hi all,
so I'm thinking of selling my CS-80 , and need a bit of feedback from the TR community.
The unit has no legs or cover, (scuff marks around the back /underneath on the vinyl) Faceplate is in good nick , all switches, pots, ribbon and sliders work, all voices make noise, but it needs a retune/service. After-all its 35 years old..
I'd love to keep it, but I'm sure It'd take a grand (which I dont have) , and a few months with steve ,(if he ever has the room) to get it humming.
Looking forward to your thoughts and advice.

It's worth a large amount of money.
I'm not sure exactly how much, as I don't follow CS80 prices closely, but they are rarely seen for sale and there's a lot of people who would like to own one (if they can afford to).
Do lot's of research before deciding on a final price.
One thing slightly going against you is location.
The big bucks for a CS80 is likely to be in Europe or the USA.
The CS80 is very big, heavy and no doubt fragile.
If you were in America or the UK I would think you could sell it for $$$$ very quickly.
Let us know how this pans out.

Hi there,
Yeah.... Chris is right...they can be worth $10k US if in good condition.
If not in good condition you should still be able to sell it as a parts dog...although a lot of the LSI chips are propietory and impossible to get !
If I was you, I would be advertising on Analog Heaven.
Cheers
