Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has been into Awave Pro Audio lately and knows what vintage synths they have there?
I've only been once in their old place and haven't seen their new store, will be going on holidays soon and want to have a look there - anyone know if they let you play the vintage synths or not?
Any other recommendations for any other good analog synth / pro audio (Neve / Cranesong and other stuff like that) related places particularly in Sydney, will be going there too.
Cheers people.
;)

Oh cool, do you know if you're allowed to play the vintage synths? When I went there in the old store they seemed keen to keep me off 'em for some reason.
Definately checking out some pro rack gear is on the cards, been concentrating solely on synths for ages now so It'd be good to try something different. Particularly interested in gear for the master bus, like stereo Comps/Limiters/EQ's etc, what do you guys recommend I take a look at?
Also very interested in seeing a Jupe 8, I have a 6 and would be nice to see the differences and would be awesome to try one out in person, although I'm not looking to upgrade.
Cheers but not really after an Xpander, just looking to get three more synths as I have pretty much all I need now - and space dictates that I can't have much more anyway ;) After that I'm going to divert my attention to finally getting some decent monitors and rack gear etc.
Thanks for your thoughts guys.

its funny - synth prices have risen so much in the last year that people are now actually paying awave's asking prices for vintage synths. I used to think they were a bit nuts, now I know they were just ahead of their time...

Yeah, but I'm not sure I want Australia to be the leader in unrealistic eBay asking prices :[
