I've had a DX7 since I bought it brand new in the '80s.
Only used it as a controller in recent times.
I had a mod done ages ago which gives me 4 internal banks of memory, but I can't remember how to access them.
(Hmm.... irony there somewhere)

Can anyone help me out?
Also battery says 2.8v. Do I need to replace it?

Battery is getting kind of low.... I have seen several different RAM mods on DX's, they all had different ways of accessing the additional banks.

Hi Blair,

Does the mod let you put a message in the startup screen ??

If its the mod I'm thinking of, I may have the instructions tucked away somewhere.

There is no startup message. On the internal memory select, it says "Bnk 4" , then the preset name.
