Hi Folks,
Greetings from Brisbane. I'm trying to source the following vintage parts (new, NOS or re-used) for a Pearl SY-1 Syncussion:
1x 500K log mono slide potentiometer - 30mm travel (metal shaft)
1x 100K log mono slide potentiometer - 30mm travel (metal shaft)
1x 100K linear mono slide potentiometer - 30mm travel (metal shaft)
The body is 8mm W x 45mm L x 13mm H, with a 15mm metal shaft. I'm happy to do a bit of surgey on the PCB btw to fit terminal spacing.
I'm also looking for a set of 16 "wide" style slider knobs (e.g. around 12mm across in a blade style, and not in a "squashed" fader style), just like these ones:

Any advice very much appreciated, have tried the ususal suspects including RS, Farnell, Digikey, Mouser, Maplin etc. (and have active eBay saved searches on the prowl...).
Regards,
JPS

Re: 30mm travel slide pots
can you repair the old ones? ie, take apart, wash out, re-lube and put back together?

Bingo! eBay saved search success. Picked up some new 30mm travel Panasonic 110K and 500K slide pots (data sheet: http://www.panasonic.com/industrial/components/pdf/aol0000ce2.pdf ) from this seller:

By a remarkable co-incidence, I happened to be in the States @ the time (US-only shipping) and got them posted to the hotel!
The PCB will need a bit of surgery tho to fit the pins/mounting pins, and I may need to glue in some brackets to the top of the PCB for support (the existing ones are all screwed to a common top support bar, and the Panasonics don't have a threaded hole at each end). The new ones are not quite as tall, but have a longer shaft to make up for this.
