I bought a space echo a little while ago, worked ok with the old tape in it. eventually that died so i just received 5 replacement tapes from mytapeecho.com. and now it doesnt erase the tapes properly, everything ive played stays on there just quieter, it even does it with my old tape now!! Ive tried cleaning the heads with isopropal and a cue tip but hasnt helped at all. It has been moved around a little since I last used so not sure if its been bumped and somethings moved out of alignment..?
Any one have any ideas? pretty stumped
cheers
Oliver

Want to give it a bit of a service as it hasn't been used in a while, what does that usualy entail?
Reverb also doesnt work. Any techs over this side of country? In WA
