I think we're lucky on this forum that no one really cares if you talk about new stuff here, but yeah maybe for newcomers a more apt title could be less confusing?

I have little interest in things synth, but never fail to find something interesting to read here. One only has to select those topics in which one is inerested............

It makes sense - it is too specific "vintage" with all this new technology we are all using (soft synths etc)

My eyes glaze over when people start talking about software instruments.

I thinks Chris's point is valid, my 2 cents.

I too have found soft synth's pretty crap in the past /and I often glaze over too - but they get better all the time.
I used to say the same about EQ and compression plug-ins - but they are really starting to sound great now
I'm amazed by my IPad and the great creative software that has already been written in such a short time.
The future is pretty amazing with computers and hardware interacting - including vintage synths being controlled by software.
"vintage" only harks to the past.

LOL .. ditto... but to be fair, it's not their sound so much. It's just not having a fun excuse to get away from the bloody computer and actually fiddle with something..
