juno 106 upgrade

Postby bias » Mon Dec 09, 2013 4:33 pm

hi all, long (long long) time lurker first time poster,

thought some of you may be interested in this: http://kiwitechnics.com/kiwi-106.htm http://kiwi-106.com/ which has just been announced...

not sure if i'd do it; one of the things i love about the juno is its simplicity.. though velocity sensitivity would be nice.

cheers :)

I think that it's bloody marvellous. It extends the Juno sound into new complexities, I will certainly be putting money aside for one.

agreed Steve, it's great people are extending the usability and lifetimes of these old machines - i'm sure when i eventually have to strip my chips i'll also do this upgrade at the same time.
i bought the Kiwi Technics Patch Editor earlier this year, can control about half my synths with it, excellent box of knobs.

I was wondering about the remote editor, it looks great on the Youtube demos.
