hi guys
probably not really vintage - but this is out of my skillset.
have a touring band looking for a prophet 12... of course its not "standard" backline so proving not so easy.
i can access a prophet 8 and have asked if that might be suitable (i have no idea of the difference)
anyone here have a 12 that they would be interested in renting?
or is it something i could possibly find on ebay and buy in working condition?
thats synth people!

Re: prophet 12
they are very different beasts, pro 12 is essentially a digital wavetable synth with analogue filters, VCA's, distortion circuit etc. prophet 08 is more standard analogue (albeit DCO) subtractive synth type.
i wish i had a pro 12 i could rent you.. had a play on one last year, lots of fun, sound amazing.. seen a couple come up on ebay but, as they're still very new, not much less than retail.

Re: prophet 12
It's a shame I haven't been on Trock for a few weeks and didn't see this. I have a Prophet 12 and could possibly be persuaded to rent it out. Biggest problem is I'm in WA.
Anyhow, I guess you've got it sorted by now.
