who do people use for their web/ email hosting? i used ilisys for years and years and they where amazing with the best customer service.
they have recently been sold, and netregestry who now owns is some of the worst customer service i have ever dealt with. the migration was a shambles, and ongoing dramas every week.
ill definitely be moving on, just hoping for a good suggestion as to where?

I have used webhostinghub for a bunch of stuff over the years (not oz based though). I've found them very good and have been able to speak with a human when this has been necessary.

I used a mates server for a decade... a year back I went to go daddy... its been okay... I have never had to contact them.

Like you I was with Ilisys and I'm now with Netregistry. I have contacted them a couple of times about the transition and have always had helpful responses and, so far, no problems. I guess it's the luck of the draw.
