Freight insurance...

Postby dave01.cooper » Wed Jun 05, 2013 6:34 pm

So in the final stages of getting a console freighted from WA to VIC but every quote I've received regarding freighting an audio console hasn't included insurance in the price...

So that leads me to the question of what insurance parties have you all gone through for shlepping large items across the country/sea? what were the items covered under (full risk, damage etc) ?

cheers all

I have used Temando freight brokers a fair bit - they sub to a number of courier companies.

Freight insurance is well worth it - I had a DAT master + Minidisk master go missing in transit - 5 months later I got the insurance money.

Awesome recommendation Ian, Temando were easy & had insurance included at a good price.

Thanks a million for that!

Now lets hope it turns up in one piece & on time.... /:)
