CS30L and VP330

Postby Sheer Noise » Wed May 14, 2008 7:14 pm

Hi guys/gals,

Looks like I'm going to sell my CS-30L and VP330 pretty soon. Steve (Thirteen) has just finished fixing them up to full working order and and I'm keen to play around with them a bit, but I need the cash, so I just wanted to put some feelers out to see if anyone here's interested in them before I chuck them on the bay.

PM me if you're vaguely interested.

I must say, I saw the 2 keyboards Dave has, before the repair work and they are in lovely condition. The CS-30 has hardly
a scratch on the console. The VP-330 is likewise in very good condition and probably a seller.

There is a guy down in Melbourne, I cannot recall his name, but he was looking a for a VP-330. The last one I saw on ebay
went for over $2000.

BTW, I have Rhodes Piano Bass I am thinking of unloading. Does anyone have any idea of their value these days?

Mine belonged to a guy from a band called "Tortoise", but it is almost like new on the inside. The Tolex is slightly
worn and it is missing the stand. It cost me a bit to freight too!

If you do not know what this is, think Ray Manzarek from The Doors. I have kept
the Piano Bass around, because I was hoping to keep using it for left hand practice and strengthen my fingers, but I
have no real room for it anymore and had a secret hope that when he comes to Australia again would use it
as a prop or actually play it ;)

Love the Rhodes.. Love it..

I saw a Bass at MusicSwopShop in Melbourne a while back.. Cool..

I'm looking for a Rhodes or Wurlie, but they seem to go for so much at the mo.

(I've just realised that I'm a serial de-railer for these threads)
