If you could have engineered any album in history and in any studio what would it be and where? I think maybe petsounds, ocean way for me. But then again would have loved to ruin Revolver at Abbey rd !

Also which current studio locxtion looks the hottest?

The Joshua Tree.

Can you imagine being in the room the first time Bono went for the high notes in With Or Without You? That would have been something.

Floyd again - Wish You Were Here.
If I were there (ignoring the fact I was 3 years old at the time of the sessions) I could've avoided the re-record of 'Shine On..' after the stuff up with the new console.
And could've met Syd Barrett when he showed up asking when it was his turn to put down some guitar tracks..

... and when the band you're in starts playing different tunes...

I guess working in the now defunct Nothing studios when Reznor created The Downward Spiral would have to be my time machine moment. As for recent records, sitting behind the board when QOTSA tracked their recent album....

Bob Marley in Kingston doing the Kaya album. If ya gotta make a record, at least do it near a beach, and that ain't Abbey Road?

Why did the record producer cross the road?

'cuase that's how the Beatles did it!

Tom Waits Bone Machine - recording in a rural barn environment is right up my alley.
