Virtual Acoustic Modelling

Has anyone ever used any virtual acoustic modeling software like EASE to investigate and plan the acoustic response of a proposed room, or to find a solution to the acoustic issues of an existing room?

Not sure if it was EASE (sounds familiar though) but we used modelling software to determine the best loudspeaker coverage when spec'ing our new auditorium PA system. It helped narrow down which systems would provide even coverage over the desired space. Also showed frequency/volume hot spots etc. Very cool. PM me for the guy's name who did it for us.

Sorry, but I find it somewhat amusing that of all the possible links that could have been mentioned, the two links mentioned above show up. The SAE reference material was all written by John Sayers and originally available on his earlier sites until a deal was struck with SAE.........I have some recollection that "the deal" ended up leaving a sour taste in John's mouth.

What i want to know is if he does it so very well on Wednesday, what happens for the rest of the week....! What's so special about Wednesday?

Your not letting Harry Whillam into your Studio are you?
He is out your way and does this sort of work.Knows what he is doing but boy can he talk.If you have any technical questions you want answers for ,then just a small hint and off he goes.
