oberheim SEM forsale leads?

Postby no-fi » Sun Jan 25, 2009 2:14 pm

I'm thinking of getting one....

Does anyone know of one of these for sale in Australia?

I know they're rare, but surely someone here knows someone with an SEM they might be persuaded to sell?

...and a busted back from carrying the OB1 about???
:-)

I dunno - always loved the idea of having an SEM. such beautiful neat little things.

I met an oberheim 4 voice, once, a long time ago. when I was buying a quadraverb GT from its owner. don't think I really need a 4 voice, but an SEM would be great.

Tom is re-releasing the SEM later this year - Under 1000 US. Has a built in Midi to CV converter .

The new SEM looks great, and will be a lot cheaper than the original to buy, with MIDI as well and still has all the modification points inside.
