Rooms for (loud) overdubbing in Sydney?

Postby aside » Sun Jan 17, 2010 11:06 am

Wondering who can suggest some small / medium studios that are Pro Tools HD equipped, have a decent sized live and control room, and don't have noise restrictions? East St is good, what else? Around the $400/day dry hire mark if possible and NOT part of a rehearsal complex!

thanks in advance.

The Glebe studio is just down the road from me... never even knew about it. Definitely going on my list. Good prices too.

Hey Anton, Just another thought, you could try Brain Studios in Kippax St, Surry Hills. My earlier stomping grounds when it was called Sun and before that Clover. http://www.myspace.com/thebrainstudios There's a B room that backs onto the live room with full connection to live and iso spaces.
It's changed a bit now bit still seems cool.

Or come down to mine and use it for less.

cheers

+1 for Blackfoot. Jim's a really nice guy and Billie is just the most beautiful dog.
