Big vintage synth collections in Aus?

Postby Starxi » Sat Jan 30, 2010 1:56 am

I've come across several really huge collections in Melbourne over the years... (don't want to name anyone..)
One in particular would have to be amongst the largest in the world..
A couple of them have eventually sold up everything..
I'm curious how many others there are around the country..?
Anyone have any stories?

The two guys that I know that had big collections eventually sold them off. They just got too big to look after, to store, maintain, insure and so on. Having them in your house crowds you out, having them in storage means not using them. As they get more valuable the temptation to sell them for a good sum and to have a life is pretty tempting I would assume.
