I would absolutely looooove to own that PPG 2.3 on Ebay.
But $6.5k.
I just can't imagine spending that much.
It could be worth it, but I bought most of my synths 10-15 years ago when prices were......reasonable.
I've always wanted a PPG 2.2/2.3 having borrowed a 2.3 for about 6 months once.

The one on ebay belongs to Greg Hutchings who was the PPG importer.

To the best of my knowledge I'd agree with that.

Just that I had two friends who owned Wave's in the UK (earlier this decade), and both sold them with a small part of frustration at the operating system.
Having said that, the biggest reason was the amount of money they both had tied up in the synth, balanced against the results they were getting.
They both said it was a fantastic machine in the end, just not worth multiple thousands to them.

I have serviced that Wave many times, it is very nice, but eventually the boards got to the point where they had to go back to Waldorf and that repair took years. A very complex machine, lots of clocks.
