Hi all,

A new song I recently finished - all drums and inspired by some of the great African rhythms:

Log-a-Rhythm (about 5 mins) - it's a gathering of drummers - they surround you

I was encircled but escaped intact

No tricks on this one - all electronic using Roland TD-20x and SPD-20 sounds (plus my converted electronic Gretsch kit).

Did anyone like it? :ympray:

Hahaa - pats on the back are always welcome - the ego thrives on it :-ss

Feedback is also very welcome from the t'rockers - there's always room for improvement and I've heard this so many times that it's getting hard to step back and listen objectively.

I know there's a little "looseness" but I lived with that as it's supposed to sound like hundreds of drummers gathering....

There's also a funny thing happening with some of the flamming - not sure if it's a phase cancellation ....

Thanks for taking the time.

i can listen again and give you some feedback if you want, it's pretty cool, the kind of idea i like a lot. i reckon you could push it a little further tho. my 2 c.

i wouldnt say to you that it sounds like 100 drummers, if i hadnt heard you say that, sounds like 1 or 2 guys on a mixed percussion kit to me, you'd need a lot more overdubbing of identical parts (with diff panning and attack/delays/EQ) for it to sound like 100, if not 100's.

anyhoo'z more later.
