specs, cheap mixer, thoughts?

I was hunting around, for a rack , and ended up down the rabbit hole...and came across this.

Swamp (a company out of canberra who I have bought leads and things from) is now selling mixers.

Have a look at the specs, and the features.

Now, for the sake of arguement...lets say the brand said , soundcraft.

The little board, has good specs, post fader direct outs, three band sweepable mid EQ that goes down to 100Hz, 80Hz and 12 K shelving, 4 subgroups (with subgroup outs) one knob compressor on each channel, and mute and SOLO button.

That feature set, is pretty much exactly what I have been chasing for the last 12months.

What am I missing?

The only thing in the specs I cant see, is crosstalk with faders up at unity.

Its 450 bucks delivered.

Been trying to find who makes these things, and which other name brand mixers are the same.

I really do wonder, how it would fare, I suppose if it was really shit I could send it back or put it in the wifes teaching room.

But, as I said, have a read of the specs, and perhaps you can point out why you wouldnt go near it, based on specs.

Wow, you had some free time today :)

Good find though - I have to agree, on paper it's hard to see how this can't compete with the name brand items at that price range. It may even be the same mixer.
