roland XV 5080 thoughts

as per thread title, what are some synth heads thoughts on this piece?
how does it fair verses Korg Triton Extreme rack, some e-mu offerings etc?

If you want to test drive it, I've got one you can borrow if you're willing to drive up to Glenorie to collect it.

I've hardly used it in over a year. Nothing wrong with it, but I tend to use VI s all the time now.

would love to take u up on it! just gotta work out when i can cruise over.
There's one on ebay i am wodnering whether to snatch up or not...hrmhrm

Well I'm not interested in selling mine, but you'd be most welcome to have it for a few weeks. That way you can decide if its what you want.

of course, not suggesting you'd wanna. I guess i'll just forget about buying one before trying it. Im the same as you, use VI all the time...besideds orchestra...i want something that does real instruments and popular sounds, hopeing this might get me in the ballpark
