Just spent the last few days refitting Jungle Studios and thought I'd share some photos!
We started with an MTE 250 console with a computer trolley for the screen, MIDI controller and keyboard/mouse. This setup worked alright, however having the computer on the trolley meant cables across the floor and the console had a few issues with some of the channels and master section, so a complete refit was needed.
We decided to go with a custom desk containing an SSL X-Desk with X-Panda, two rack bays either side (for quick access to preamps and other gear), patchbay and movable rack with downlights, enough desk space to house two monitors, MIDI controller, keyboard and mouse. Keep it clean and tidy! We used to operate by using the outboard pre's anyway as we have quite a few, so this setup works very well for us. As you can see from the 'finished' photo we're still yet to fill the racks with gear, they're still in the centre island behind mix position, but that'll happen over the next month or so. The rolling racks are situated on the left of the final photo.

Cheers guys!
It was Matt at NorEast Aspect Builders. Don't have the phone number on hand and it was a *little* expensive, but it's damn solid.
