Re: Copper shielding tape
Slugs are a pain, one hitchhiked on the back of our cat a while back and dropped off when the cat went to sleep on my bed, came in to find a *long* trail of silvery slime all over my doona with the slug still at the end of it, thanks cat.. haha

Hey Chris, Why did you line the cavities with copper? I'm not a tech but I love guitars.

Re: Copper shielding tape
Because strat's are a noise magnet and in my limited knowledge at the time, I thought the copper lining might cut back the noise a bit. The back of the pick guard was already lined when I bought it so I just lined the wood in the cavity as well.

.....just a quick thought..... ......I'm hoping the glue used on the slugga won't disolve the plastic on your ribbon ties?
