Phil Rigger at Monstereo raves about them.

I'm probbably getting one for the school next year. The Norwest guys had good things to say about them when compared to other options in that budget for the low cost market.

I had a tentative look into the X32.
I was put off (but not only) by some initial reports/feedback about a clicking sound that happened (only softly) when the gain pot was turned.
That stopped any further curiosity for me.
Lots of functions...and price was V good...but overall not something I'd put put money towards.

Yeah the x32 isn't to bad to use. I got use to it after the first song. The only thing I would like is a touch screen. I'd much prefer to use a x32 over a ls9. It's differently good value for money.

yeah about what i thought
mixed a show on one the other night (regional QLD)
was a lot better than what a dodgy pub would usually have had… it did "everything"
ie: i had 5 mons sends all with graphs.. which just wouldn't happen at a dodgy little gig usually.

i certainly didn't love it.
but it certainly didn't sound bad (that i could tell through the 20 year old JBL PA)
and they are the right price!

I'm sure we will start seeing them out and about

An American sound guy I was talking to the other night said they're popping up every where in the states. He reckoned it was on par with the "budget" Soundcraft, better that the Yamaha and streets ahead of the Presonus.

I think that these consoles are much better since the last firmware upgrade. It had some weird little ways prior to that, and these little quirks were deal breakers for me. Not so sure now though. Although I still prefer the GLD in this class.
