I want to clean the high z section of a diy tube mic as I'm trying to fimd the source of a little background noise, which do people find better? Jayvcar have both Iso or a pcb cleaner in a spray can.
any thoughts/preferences?

I have both, I would prefer the iso. Less residue.

you can buy isopropyl alcohol from bunnings in a 150ml spray bottle. its in the cleaning part of the paint section where the the turps and thinners are kept. May be cheaper than Jaycar.

I get my isopropyl alcohol for tape head cleaning from the local chemist. They have it in bulk and decanter into a smaller medicine bottle. Cheap as.
