Neve Knobs

Postby Hybrid88 » Fri Jun 13, 2014 6:36 pm

Came across this whist looking for other stuff, thought it might be of interest to you budding DIY'ers on here.

An Aus supplier for Neve style blue or red knobs. A great way to spruce up a DIY project (good price too).

Anyone tried these? Do they look like the originals?

Shipping to South Africa is a bit rich for an impulse buy!

It's a shame they're for 18 tooth spline type pots as opposed to 1/4" with a grub screw...

Yeah, but for reference you can get them here (as well as a lot of other interesting knobs and hard-to-find goodies) :)

Yeah I know about the Don audio ones... but they're a lot more expensive!

Hi Richard,

thanks for the link, I've been looking the Marconi style knobs at a reasonable price for a quite a while.

Great to see that it's a local company supplying them.

Cheers

You can also get the Don Audio ones via Classic API.

I got some straight from AMS Neve last year.

Expensive but extremely well built and the real deal.
23 pounds for the big red '1073' guy
30 pounds for the one you'd find as the main level control on an 88r (and another 26 pounds for the top insert!)

The AMS and Don Audio prices are outrageous! It's a single knob for shitsake!
