Just watched this great doco on Muscle Shoals. Quite a revelation to see all the albums that were recorded there, and the guys that played on them. All of Aretha Franklin's classic albums, Wilson Picket, Percy Sledge etc played by a bunch of geeky white guys from Alabama in the days of segregation.
It's on Netfix if anybody has access to that.
Strongly recommended.
