This is probably already here somewhere, but I don't recall seeing it. If it is someone tell me.
If it isn't , you'll love it. I've been "wandering" through it for the last hour instead of doing the washing up. Better get to the housework before "The enforcer" gets "dark"........

I stumbled across this site a while back but it has certainly grown since then. What a great site it is!
Todays post on the site is all Fairchild. http://www.preservationsound.com/?p=4024
$1495.00 for a new Fairchild 670 back in the day.
And the 664 eq, I had a few of those.
This pic of Robert Fine in his bow tie is a classic!

Thanks for posting it Alastair. I've got hours of reading and picture gazing to look forward too .... I just have to wait when "she who must be obeyed" is not lurking.

That's my G54 limiter. I posted some pic's of it to that nice fella Chris (of Preservation Sound).
Good bloke! Planning to try'n catch him in the States on my next trip over that way..
In other news, I finally got a replacement power supply for the G54 built and just tested it tonight.
Seems cool. Needs a fair bit of gain, though, at the front end. Is that normal?
