Hey all,
Taken a bit of a sabbatical for personal reasons for the next 6 months traveling/working across Canada/Northern US but will be doing remote mixing on the road via the trusty laptop. However would still like to hire out some studios along the way to do some tracking, mixing & just listening tests.
Does the TR brains trust have any good studio recommendations for Montreal, Quebec, Toronto or the surrounding areas to those cities? That's where I'll be based first & then Vancouver/Pendicton later.
Thanks in advance

Re: Anyone worked out of studios in Canada?
Hey Dave.
I was in BC this time last year for a break on Vancouver Island. Spent a week in Tofino (about 5 hours from Victoria) which was freakin glorious. Sort of felt like Byron Bay in the 80's with no crowds and no Djembe's.
There's a cool little studio just nearby the beach up there. Perfect place to clear the mind, feel creative and witness some of the most stunning scenery.
This is probably a bit off your track but mate if you get the chance...Do it!

A mate of mine Jay Atwill is based in Montreal. A really great person and kind soul. His main thing is his music but he also has a production company, 6 Mile Productions and access to good studios and his own set up.

Ben - that place looks amazing. We'll actually be on Vancouver island as I have relatives who live just out of Victoria in the south so will definitely check that place out!
Chris - ok will send him a message via facebook perhaps. Mind if I drop your name?
Responded to you Myles.
Thanks gents. Now to get my head around this whole tipping business and what industry it adheres to... confuses the shit out of me.
